Beginning September 1, 2010, registration of BT will be on an annual basis. No more lifetime free upgrades for just $100. If you have been using the unregistered version of BT for sometime, this is a good time to avail of the one-time registration before the switch. All those who has registered before the switch will already be “grandfathered”. Of course, if you want to support the further development of BT, you can always switch to an annual registration anytime later.

I would like to know what symbols can be added once I become a registered member. I’m interested in adding CL and 6E Futures which are not part of the default list right now. Thank you.
Almost forgot to mention that I do enjoy the application .. have used it for a few weeks. Thank you!
You can enter any stock, futures or cash symbol that is available for trading at IB. I’m working on an options only version.
How long after registering do I get my registration?
As soon as your payment is cleared by the payment processor.
I am having difficult connecting to IB. I have talked to IB and have done everything on their end. The connection box does not come up. and BT says trying to connect. Please help.
Check the next blog.
BT wouldn’t connect with new TWS upgrade today. Had to go back to previous TWS. Is that correct for now?
Also now that I’ve come to this blog, I see this new registration.
As a registered user for a few years now, I have no idea how I will be effected. Can someone explain?
Go to Preferences menu, click Connect to IB , then click Local IP.
Current registered users up to the switch will have a “forever” license.
I want to register – but I can only find the annual renewal, the forever would be much appreciated
thanks
All keys obtained before the switch are still forever keys.
Hi,
I have read about the new subscription conditions. Have I got it right that BT is now for free using just for one month and after this trial period I have to pay registration fee for using? And then I will be asked to pay this fee every year?
Thanks fo answer
Yes, that is if you don;t have an old license. You can still get the forever license now before the switchover.
So everyone from 1.9.10 has to pay for using it. There is no free mode any longer?
Larry,
I just now became aware of your software and just downloaded it yesterday. Is there any way I can get grandfathered into the one time fee?
Thanks
Sorry, the switch is over. Most of the grandfathers have been with BT for more than 5 years.
Sorry, there is no more one time fee.
Yes, that is correct.
Hi Larry, I paid for an lifetime subscription several years ago, but my email addresses are no longer valid or being monitored. Now I have new computer and lost all information from before. How can I get license key back?
ericwins
Just let me know what email you want to use.
Thanks Larry, Please use this Email address included with this email. Please re-send old registration to this new email address. Eric
Updated.
Please tell me your conditions to use BT, I see you only have annual and no lifetime subscription!
The lifetime subscription is available only to users who have been using BT since 2002 up to the promotion month before the switch.
Larry,
After the initial $100 registration, how much will the annual fee be each year?
GPH
It’s $100 yearly.
Larry,
I am thinking about registering but have a few questions.
Is it possible to add more than three exit targets? I have a strategy that has 5 exit targets.
Is it possible to set a different quantity for each exit target? I have a strategy that scales out in decreasing amounts.
Is it possible to manually change the stop while keeping the targets the same?
Thanks
Not with the current BT, but I’m working on an entirely different program. Here’s the prototype –
Larry,
When do you expect to release the prototype?
No definite date yet, progress depends on my available time for BT (and funds).
Hi Larry, Recently I registered for the annual license but didnt get any response from you. I also check the spam filter, but couldn’t find any reply. Please let me know hoe to proceed for getting the yearly license key.
Thanks in advance, P
Did you get a receipt from the payment processor?
Check with Avangate first – https://secure.avangate.com/myaccount/order_lookup/
Is it possible to register for life time membership. If I can please let me know. Thanks
Ashraf
The lifetime upgrade option is already closed.
“Last chance to register Bracket Trader before the switch to an annual subscription !”
Can I still get that offer, or is it gone already?
Thanks
Kareem
Sorry, the switch is over.
I use a multiple computer setup. Can BT be run on more than 1 computer at the same time? Also, I have several IB accounts.
Does it make any difference which one is used for connection?
Thanks.
1. yes
