Trailing Mode

Postby captn » Thu Feb 25, 2010 12:26 pm

Morning all, Is there a method to invoke the trailing stop mode when already in the trade? Often the trade goes weel and I need to leave the computer for a short time and would like to invoke the trailing stop and haven't found a way to do it. Any suggestions please, Many thanks.

You have to set up your trailing first, then, when you enter a trade, you can uncheck the Trail option in the top panel. Recheck the option when you want to activate the trailing stop.

Test first with the Features Tester, or with a paper trader account.

Thanks Larry, If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the trailing mode has to be set up and checked when you get into the trade then it can be switched off then on again when required. That's fine with me, there's been many times during a trade that I would have welcomed this feature.

Yes.

As I mentioned, try it first with the Feature Tester or with a paper trader account.
