|
|
I am sure this has been discussed and I have searched the archives but...
When I place a limit order I see it is working and live on the TWS. If I were to lose connection or power or whatever, and the order fills, will the bracket stop loss and profit targets also become live at IB servers ?
Or will I be in the market with no bracket order surrounding my position ?
thanks

let me rephrase my question.
using bracket trader lets put in an order to buy at limit below current bid. Furthermore it is a typical bracket style order with a profit target above and a stop loss below. Now the market hovers without filling my order and then my power goes out or I lose internet connection. While I am not connected the market goes down and fills the buy limit.
Now my question is will the profit / stop orders also go into IB or will I be long without a bracket surrounding my position?
thanks for any insight

| As long as you see your orders in TWS, your orders are in IB. |
